Timeline
(in min:sec)

0:00-1:59

Before you begin, take a couple of minutes to set up your job. Perhaps wash your hands, clear the counter, etc.
2:00-2:29

Mix up a small amount of powder and liquid in the mixing cup.
2:30-3:29

Once stirred with the mixing stick, Plast-aid® is in its castable state. Here it can be poured into molds, holes, cracks, etc. This is the stage when color can be added.
3:30-4:29

At this time, Plast-aid® has become a bit thicker. It can still be cast but is approaching its glue stage.
4:30-5:59

This is Plast-aid®'s glue/paste stage. At this point it is great for adhering broken items. It's very sticky as it makes stringy strands in between the fingers*.
6:00-7:59

Here, at about 6 minutes, Plast-aid® has reached it's putty phase. It can now be used to reinforce. It is still quite tacky, so it can still glue; however it can now be taken out of the cup in one piece and is rapidly approaching the clay state.
8:00-8:59

At 8 minutes Plast-aid® has almost reached its clay state. Now it can be pulled off the mixing stick with the fingers. It is still a little tacky, so you will get some on your fingers. Don't worry, it will come right off later.
9:00-10:29

Here is Plast-aid®'s clay state — completely unique to Plast-aid® alone. At this stage Plast-aid® can be made into custom parts: from homemade nuts and bolts to handles, fasteners, and fixtures. The possibilities are endless!

Go ahead and roll Plast-aid® into a marble.
10:30-10:59

At around 10 minutes and 30 seconds, Plast-aid® is entering its final cure. At this point it can barely be worked and is beginning to get warm to the touch. It will continue to raise in temperature for 20 to 30 seconds. After it cools, it's done.
11:00-11:29

Plast-aid® has finally cured! A hard squeeze will testify that the small marble cannot be changed.
11:30-12:29

Now that Plast-aid® is dry, it is simple to get the extra out of the cup. Just pinch the cup, Plast-aid® will crack away from the edge, and you can pull the whole piece right out. The cup is ready for a new batch!
12:30-15:00

Clean up is a breeze with Plast-aid®. You've already thrown out the extra from the mix cup. Now just crumb Plast-aid® off your fingers. If it doesn't all come off, use soap and water.
